Watch the history of the Texas NF Foundation Video!!!

Texas NF Foundation 15th Anniversary VideoI have a terrific video for all of you!

About 10 years ago, I was asked to help participate in a video detailing the history of the Texas Neurofibromatosis Foundation. Our 15th Anniversary was coming up and Bob Hopkins, the Executive Director at the time, wanted to recognize the people who brought us to where we were while also helping educate the new trustees, volunteers and patients about the history of the foundation and all of the ground-breaking work we helped initiate.

I’ve just watched it for like the 100th time and I’m still learning more stuff!

The Texas NF Foundation has come a long way. I am so very proud to have been a part of the history. Most of you already know my friend Dr. Vincent Riccardi. You can see him as well other important people such as Doris Kraft, Bob Hopkins, Martha Salierno, Mark Wagner, Casey Rubey and others.

We were all much younger in those days but no less passionate about the cause.

Enjoy the video and post your comments. I would love to know what you think.

  1. This video brought back so many fond memories!

It was so nice to see photos of old friends and volunteers who helped make the Texas NF Foundation one of the leading organizations about neurofibromatosis in the country.

Everybody needs to know how important Doris Kraft and Dr. Vic Riccardi were in creating awareness for NF as well as starting what has become the Texas NF Foundation.

It is a wonderful story about the evolution of a great organization and the people who made it happen.

  2. Wow, seem like the 15th was just a short while ago, and 9 months or so ago was the 25th. I missed the 25th, I was on a crusie and somewhere off the coast of Mexico.

  3. Hey, keep up the good work Reggie. I have enjoyed looking at all the pictures of everyone. It brings back some good memories. Say hello to all of your family.
