Reggie Bibbs and Kevin Nealon

Our fearless leader, Reggie W Bibbs, and some guy in a ball cap that looks a lot like the famous comedian from Saturday Night Live and Weeds, Kevin Nealon, catching up on old times! Kevin is a super supporter of the Just Ask Foundation, awareness of neurofibromatosis, and Reggie and even has a link to Reggie’s site on his homepage, kevinnealon.com.

It’s not uncommon for Kevin to call or text Reggie from the road just to see how he was doing. He’s a great guy! Reggie first met Kevin and his wife Susan after a show in Manhattan Beach when Reggie and friend, Scott Dickson, went to the show. After the show, Kevin came out to meet Reggie and Scott. They had such a good talk, Kevin went backstage and brought his wife, Susan, to meet Reggie.

Sorry, Scott, but apparently you didn’t make as big an impression.

Reggie presented a Just Ask t-shirt to both Susan and Kevin and a beautiful friendship arose.

Now, whenever Kevin comes to Houston for a show, there are usually 8 passes at Will Call waiting for us. One year, he wore his Just Ask shirt during his comedy routine. But what’s really cool is hanging out with Kevin before and after the show.

Kevin Nealon is, quite possibly, the nicest person on Planet Earth. And we are so appreciated of his friendship!

I’ve been friends with Kevin 3 years after that day. Kevin contact me to say he would be in Houston, and he would like for me to come see him. We did, and he really made me happy, as he did the same for my friends.

This is what Kevin did for me.  He wore my just ask shirt on stage. He gave me free tickets. He talk to me after the show, Was not in a rush to leave. He posed for photos with me. He collect lots of doodles for National Doodle Day.

Joan Rivers, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick, Jon Lovitz, Valerie Bertinelli, Garry Shandling, Roseanne Barr, and of course Kevin Nealon.   And Kevin gave me this medallion. It was given to him by Brad Paisley. It reads Expect Great Things.  Kevin really made me happy, and Im thinkful for what he is doing for all of us that are affect by NF.

National Doodle Day Benefitting Neurofibromatosis Awareness, Thursday, May 13, 2010

It’s that time again. National Doodle Day. This is the 3rd year that I happy to help with getting the word out about doodle day. A few of my friends, Kevin Nealon, and some of Kevin’s friends gave turned in doodles. Also my friend Sugar Ray Leonard helped again this year as well. To make sure all the information is correct, I have all the information from the website. I’m happy to do my part by passing information to you.

As part of NF Awareness month, celebrity doodles are available for auction on eBay during May. These doodles have a very important aim: the funds they raise will benefit NF, Inc., an organization dedicated to providing support to individuals and families affected by neurofibromatosis (NF).

For those of you new to this website, neurofibromatosis is a genetic disorder that affects one in every 2,500 births. NF is more common than Cystic Fibrosis, Muscular Dystrophy and Huntington’s Disease combined. Funds raised from the Doodle Day auction will go to support education, advocacy, coalitions, and research for treatments and a cure. To learn more about NF, please visit www.nfinc.org.
